Description
For use with cement-based adhesive and floor screeds Enhances adhesion to impermeable surfaces Suitable for impermeable old vinyl, linoleum & ceramic tiles Promotes a locked in bond to substrate Quick-drying low odour & ready to use Coverage: 8-10 sq. m per litre A high-performance acrylic-based, fine-textured bonding agent applied by brush or roller to give an improved key onto smooth impermeable surfaces such as existing ceramic, porcelain & stone tiles, resin-based & glazed coatings, dense power-floated concrete and hard securely bonded vinyl flooring. GRIT-PRIME is a solvent-free low odour blue-pigmented coating which dries within 1 hour and is then ready to receive cement-based tile adhesives and flooring screeds. Provides an excellent key and enhances bond to smooth surfaces Primer ready to use & apply by either a brush or roller Rapid drying primer which dries 15 minutes after painting out For use on a wide range of smooth, impermeable surfaces Ideal for improving adhesion bond in tile on tile applications Improves bond to non-porous surfaces for self- levelling compounds Solvent free low-odour coating. PALACE GRIT-PRIME is a ready to use interior wall & floor primer designed to provide an improved mechanical key to substrates which are of limited porosity or of a very smooth finish. It gives a coarsetextured finish and forms a strong bond with impermeable substrates allowing subsequently applied coatings or plasters to key into the primed surface and optimise their adhesion to the structure PALACE GRIT-PRIME is effective on smooth and impermeable substrates such as terrazzo, glazed ceramic tiles and impermeable natural stone coverings to optimise the bond achieved by subsequently applied levelling compounds, adhesives and any other similar cement-based system. PALACE GRIT-PRIME can be applied as a one-coat membrane onto badly sanded mastic asphalt, rolled asphalt or fine asphalt old coatings and for sealing old, smooth and sound power-floated concrete surfaces, magnesia screeds, metal substrates (e.g. channelled plate) stable vacuumed and sanded vinyl, linoleum, thermoplastic & semi-flexible tiles and hard rubber coverings in domestic areas.
